Kelly G. Denker, Senior Vice President   Kelly G. Dencker, Senior Vice President
Kelly Dencker is a senior vice president and leads the Coyne PR Health Care practice where he’s engaged in all aspects of the business including strategic and creative account planning and management, digital health communications, issues management, and the development of new products and services.

Prior to joining Coyne PR, Dencker worked at MS&L Worldwide where he was director of Health Care for the New York office. During his 19+ years with MS&L Worldwide, he worked on more than 30 new product introductions and managed several award-winning campaigns and high-profile launches within the pharmaceutical and consumer health categories. Notably, Kelly led launch campaigns for such brands as Cialis, Xolair, Zyrtec and InfantSEE. Further, he worked closely with the agency’s largest clients including Daiichi Sankyo, Genentech, Lilly, Philips, Roche, Sanofi-aventis, Sanofi Pasteur and Solvay, among others.

Over the years Kelly has cultivated communications expertise in the areas of men’s health, children’s health, respiratory health, vision care and urology, to name a few. His passion is consumer health communications, and Kelly has forged long-standing strategic partnerships between his clients and leading advocacy and professional organizations.
Kevin Lamb - Vice President   Kevin Lamb, Vice President
Kevin Lamb is vice president of Coyne PR’s health care group. Kevin oversees all of the agency’s medical and health care work, including its efforts for Medco Health Solutions, the nation’s leading pharmacy benefit manager, Humana and Atlantic Health, one of the leading regional hospital systems in the northeast region.

Under Kevin’s guidance, the agency has executed campaigns for clients in personalized medicine, Medicare, chronic disease, pediatric health, clinical imaging and diagnostics, consumer brand building and corporate/executive industry leadership.

Kevin has led the strategy of every Medco program since 2001, ranging from the company’s efforts around drug safety, personalized medicine, pediatric health and Medicare. Kevin also oversaw Humana’s most recent innovative consumer branding campaign, launching the nation’s largest bike–sharing program at the 2008 political conventions -- a program that achieved unprecedented awareness and media coverage for the company. Kevin also directed the strategy for the agency’s work with Siemens Healthcare, emphasizing communications in both clinical and consumer channels. Under Kevin’s guidance, the health care group at Coyne PR has received more than 20 public relations awards and recognitions.
Linda Bernstein Jasper - Assistant Vice President   Linda Bernstein Jasper, Assistant Vice President
inda has spent her entire career in various aspects of the health care field, ranging from public health to policy to communications. She has overseen the agency’s work for several of its cornerstone health care clients, including Humana, Siemens Healthcare and Atlantic Health, responsible for strategic direction, day-to-day media relations management and the development of dedicated initiatives to build awareness around specific offerings.

In 2008, she led the communications program for the national debut of Humana’s bike-sharing program – Freewheelin – at both the Democratic and Republican National Conventions. To date, the program has garnered ten public relations awards, including a Silver Anvil from the Public Relations Society of America.

Prior to Coyne, Linda was a vice president at Keating Public Relations, overseeing the health care division. Before Keating, Linda managed the public affairs for Empire Blue Cross and Blue Shield, the largest health insurer in New York State. In addition to handling day-to-day media relations, she also oversaw the grassroots communications campaign for the company’s plans to restructure as a for-profit.
Janet Schiller - Assistant Vice President   Janet Schiller, Assistant Vice President
Janet Schiller, assistant vice president, brings a wealth of broadcast experience to Coyne PR. Prior to joining Coyne PR, she spent 14 years in broadcast journalism at NBC Today, the last six as a producer for the show. In this role, Janet produced both live and taped segments ranging from breaking news to feature pieces, as well as contributing to special political and Olympic Games coverage She also developed programming on parenting, aging and health issues that expanded into the very successful Today’s Parenting, Family, and Forever Young franchises.

Janet’s firsthand knowledge of the news business and her extensive media contacts are an invaluable asset to Coyne PR. She has led the agency’s programs for Medco Health Solutions, spearheading many of its hugely successful campaigns including initiatives in personalized medicine and drug interaction research that influenced prescribing practices for certain breast cancer and heart disease medications. Janet has also been responsible for developing and managing media efforts for Medco’s eCommerce, ePrescribing, Specialty Pharmacy and Medicare divisions.
Bill Borden - Senior Media Specialist   Bill Borden, Senior Media Specialist
Bill Borden joined Coyne Public Relations’ health care team as a Senior Media Specialist during the spring of 2005 after a 15-year journalism career. At Coyne PR, Bill primarily works on the Medco Health account and assists other teams with business media initiatives.

Bill worked as a Correspondent at the Reuters equities desk for 12 years. During his tenure, he wrote about a wide variety of industries and filed market moving headlines and articles for a global audience of stock traders, securities analysts and investment banks. Bill’s coverage areas spanned the health care industry, including hospitals, health insurers, drug and medical device wholesalers, specialty pharmaceuticals and other health care services. Earlier in his career at Reuters, he covered retailing. In addition to his duties at Reuters, Bill served as a shop steward at the New York Newspaper Guild. Bill’s work appeared in The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Orange County Register, The Star-Ledger and other newspapers as well as news sections of leading Internet sites, such as Yahoo! and America Online.
