Teen Vogue has launched popup retail stores called "Haute Spots." Located in upscale malls across the country, Teen Vogue is offering 1-hour private sessions for teens, providing makeup, hair and style tips and services from Teen Vogue's makeup artists priced at $100 per session. Last year, these "Haute Spots" generated more than $250,000 in sales from its 50,000 visitors.

This TV Station Could Be Yours for $550,000
Bud Kelley, owner of WMKG-LP, a UHF station in Western Michigan, has put his television station up for bid. The station's original price was $1 million, but is now "priced to sell" for $550,000, according to its listing on eBay. Kelley says he'd be happy getting $500,000 for the station, which currently shows a mix of live talk shows, family and outdoor sports programming, claiming: "It's just retirement time for me."

Ryanair has introduced smokeless cigarettes for its passengers who cannot go more than a few hours without their nicotine fix. As the packaging warns, these cigarettes are not to be lit, but simply air is to be inhaled through them, simulating a puff from an actual cigarette. A box of 10 are being sold for six Euros (more than $8.00).

Puppy Tweets, a new Twitter-enabled dog collar from Mattel, will allow Fido to broadcast all of its daily barking, tail-chasing and butt-sniffing actions directly onto Twitter. A device attached to the dog's collar randomly generates one of 500 predetermined tweets when it detects movements and automatically posts an update to Fido's personalized Twitter page. Puppy tweets include: "I bark because I miss you," and, "I finally caught that tail I've been chasing, and . . . OOUUUCHH!"
