Degree Natureffects Targeted at Women Who Adore Purty Flowers
To promote its new Natureffects line of nature-inspired women's antiperspirant, Degree decorated bus shelters in major cities - including San Francisco, New York, Chicago and Washington, DC - with ornate flowers and foliage. The advertisements were based on market research which found that being closer to nature improves a woman’s chance of feeling healthy and can improve a woman's mood. Also, 86 percent of women find that their lunchtime is more productive if it is taken outside.

Such Tweet Sorrow: Shakespeare Gets the Social Media Treatment
Shakespeare will go Web 2.0 in an upcoming stage production by Mudlark and The Royal Shakespeare Company. "Such Tweet Sorrow" is a five-week adaptation via Shakespeare’s "Romeo and Juliet" which will incorporate the theater audience and Twitter participation. Aside from in-character tweets from actors in the show (@julietcap16

Hallmark has launched a user-generated "To Do" list for people who are soon to turn 30. Named b430, the online promotion – hosted on Twitter and Facebook – asks people in their late 20’s to share what they would like to do before hitting the big 3-0 for a chance to win an iPad. Interested parties must enter by May 3.

After hearing about prom dresses made of duct tape, Iowa High School junior Elizabeth Rasmuson decided to make her own gown and matching vest for her date out of Wrigley's 5 gum wrappers. New DQ Mobile
Dairy Queen has launched a 25-city tour to celebrate the 25th birthday of its Blizzard® ice cream snack and the 70th anniversary of the DQ brand. Leading the tour is a customized ice cream truck, dubbed the Blizzard® mobile, which features the DQ signature red lips, spoon windshield wipers, blizzard cup rear view mirror and a mound of Oreo cookie Blizzard. Library of Congress Will Save Tweets
Twitter is now officially part of American history. The Library of Congress, in partnership with Twitter, has added all tweets since March 2006 into its collection. Moving forward, the library will continue to archive the 55 million messages posted daily via the microblogging portal.
