Brian Murphy joined Coyne PR in August 2006 as an Account Supervisor and brings with him a solid consumer products and licensing background. His current clients include Toys“R”Us, Babies“R”Us, Hasbro Games and Crayola.
In his short time at Coyne PR, Brian has helped develop and execute some very successful public relations programs, including the launch of the Toys “R” Us/Toys for Tots Ultimate Toy Drive,” which garnered more than 115 local market broadcast and print hits during the two day launch weekend and the Toys“R”Us 2007 Black Friday campaign which generated over 80 national and local market media opportunities in one day, including Good Morning America, New York Times, National Public Radio and FOX Business Network’s “Money for Breakfast.”
Prior to joining Coyne, he was an account supervisor with Alan Taylor Communications in New York, where he spearheaded programs for such global accounts as MasterCard, Diageo and Bombardier Recreational Products (BRP). He also led the domestic PR campaign for worldwide Olympic partner Panasonic during the Torino Games, which included numerous domestic and on-site activities with Olympic Gold Medalist Picabo Street.
Before Alan Taylor, Brian was an account supervisor at Freeman Public Relations where he developed and executed the PR campaigns for a variety of clients, including Fisher-Price, Sony Pictures Consumer Products and Jeep (licensed merchandise).
