As a Vice President and director of the Beauty/Grooming and Entertainment Divisions at Coyne PR, Deborah has conceptualized and executed a number of programs for leading consumer beauty companies, including L’Oreal, Mary Kay, Church & Dwight and E.T. Browne, and major initiatives for top entertainment and lifestyle brands including Hard Rock International.
Deborah currently oversees public relations activities for Mary Kay, Palmer’s Skin Care and Hard Rock International. She is instrumental in developing and executing impactful events for each of her clients, including Mary Kay’s philanthropic “Kiss for Country” Campaign in celebration of their sponsorship of the CMA Awards and Hard Rock’s annual “Rocktober” Celebration to create awareness for breast cancer research.
Before joining Coyne PR, Deborah served as the Director of Communications for Bumble and bumble (Bb), the prestige hair product company and salon owned by Estee Lauder. Previous to Bb, Deborah worked for the public relations agency Lippe Taylor. Deborah managed some of the company’s major beauty care clients including Bath & Body Works, The Andrew Jergens Company (Bioré, Curél and Jergens Skin Care brands), prestige brand Naturopathica and Kiss My Face.
She began her career in the industry and honed her beauty publicity skills at DeVries Public Relations where she developed, supervised and implemented public relations programs on behalf of Procter & Gamble’s Oil of Olay, Unilever’s Ponds Skincare, the CTFA “Look Good, Feel Better” Program, Regis Hairstylists and the Thymes Limited.
Deborah holds a BA in Communications and a Certificate of Criminology from Rutgers College, Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey. She is a member of Cosmetic Executive Women.
