Geoff Phelps

As a Vice President at Coyne PR, Geoffrey has more than 16 years of professional experience in consumer and business-to-business public relations, Geoffrey brings a proven track record of developing and implementing strategies that generate strong results for clients and has built an impressive breadth of industry experience in a wide variety of areas including automotive, sports, consumer products, financial, high tech, healthcare, non-profit and National Governing Bodies. As lead of the Goodyear account, Geoffrey helped develop and implement the most successful Blimp launch in Goodyear history, which generated more than 150 million consumer media impressions and more than $3.5 million in comparative advertising value.

 

Prior to Coyne, Geoffrey was Senior Vice President at The Sherry Group, where he spearheaded the company’s new business efforts and provided overall management for several key clients including LG Electronics, GlaxoSmithKline, Wenger Swiss Army and Commonfund. During his tenure at TSG, Geoffrey was instrumental in the development and implementation of successful PR campaigns for well-known companies including: Masterfoods; The History Channel; GSK; Cadillac; Mead; Spalding Sports Worldwide; Amer Sports and At-A-Glance as well as top motor sports programs including the FedEx CART Series, Mead’s Sarah Fisher sponsorship and the launch of At-A-Glance’s NASCAR Back to School product line.

 

Geoffrey graduated magna cum laude from Montclair State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English.
