Janet Schiller, assistant vice president, brings a wealth of broadcast experience to Coyne PR. Prior to joining Coyne PR, she spent 14 years in broadcast journalism at NBC Today, the last six as a producer for the show. In this role, Janet covered the Atlanta 1996 and Sydney 2000 Summer Olympic Games, the French Bi-Centennial Celebration, and the 1988 Republican National Convention. She also developed programming on family and health issues that expanded into the very successful Today’s Parenting, Family, and Forever Young series.
Janet’s firsthand knowledge of the news business and her extensive media contacts are an invaluable asset to Coyne PR. She has made an important contribution to the success of the agency’s programs for Medco Health Solutions, spearheading many of its most successful media efforts, including Medco’s pediatric behavioral medication, adult ADHD medication and sleep medication analyses. Janet has also been instrumental in garnering significant media coverage for Medco’s individual divisions, including e-Commerce, e-Prescribing, consumer-directed health products, specialty pharmacy, advanced pharmacy practice and Medco’s ‘Ask the Pharmacist’ program.
Janet graduated with high honors from Stevens Institute of Technology with a BS in management science and was the recipient of the Wall Street Journal Academic Achievement Award.
