As an Account Supervisor, Michael Salzillo’s work at Coyne PR has included various product launches and campaigns for national brands such as Goodyear, Quaker State, Pennzoil, Rain-X and Black Magic. He has also worked on high-profile media events for Shell Lubricants, and assists in the leveraging of Quaker State’s and Pennzoil’s NASCAR sponsorships to generate media-worthy news.
Michael has also successfully implemented on-going media campaigns for a growing list of automotive clients. These campaigns have included the Seemore Safety Campaign for Rain-X, Change for Charity National Tour for Pennzoil and the Name-the-Blimp Contest around the latest Goodyear Blimp Launch.
Currently, Michael is responsible for the Quaker State and Shell Car Care accounts at Coyne PR. In managing the day to day operations for these campaigns, Michael has helped to generate more than 100 million media impressions in highly-targeted, automotive enthusiast media outlets.
Aside from the accounts he currently oversees, Michael spearheads the agency’s “new media” efforts. His new media experience includes working with Shell to educate all brands under the Shell Lubricants umbrella.
Michael started at Coyne PR in 2005 as an Account Coordinator. This year, Michael was nominated and named a Finalist for PRWeek’s 2008 Young Professional of the Year.
Michael graduated from Seton Hall University in 2002 with a degree in Communications. At Seton Hall he was a member of the PRSSA and the school’s Bateman Competition Team. He recently received his Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) from the Public Relations Society of America.
