John Gogarty, Senior Vice President
John Gogarty, Senior Vice President John Gogarty is senior vice president of Coyne Public Relations' consumer lifestyle and crisis communications groups. John has created integrated consumer marketing programs for a wide range of clients including Disney, Hard Rock International, Mary Kay Cosmetics, Kraft Foods, General Mills, Campbell Soup Company and Cadbury Schweppes. He also oversees retail outlets in these categories, including Disney’s World of Disney store and Hard Rock Shops. He provides strategic direction for the accounts, ranging from crisis communications and product launches, to press trips and editor events. His creativity, comprehensive marketing knowledge and extensive media contacts make him an indispensable member of the Coyne PR senior management team.
Hard Rock International, a loyal client that has followed John from another agency, joined the Coyne’s roster in 2003. John and his team currently oversee worldwide public relations for Hard Rock International’s 130 cafes, 13 hotels and six full-service casinos and cafe openings, corporate publicity, as well as crisis communications for all of Hard Rock’s interests in 52 countries worldwide. |

Brian Murphy, Vice President
Brian Murphy, Vice President Brian Murphy is a Vice President at Coyne PR and leads the toy and juvenile products group which includes Toys“R”Us, Babies“R”Us, Hasbro Games and Crayola. An eleven year industry veteran, Brian is a consumer media specialist with experience in the toy, apparel and accessory, electronic, sporting goods, juvenile products, retail and home and garden categories. Brian also has extensive knowledge of the licensing industry having represented some of the most well-known entertainment and corporate brands. While at Coyne PR, Brian has helped develop and execute some of the agency’s most successful public relations programs. In 2009, Brian led the campaign on behalf of Hasbro Games for the 60th birthday celebration of Candy Land. The campaign was highlighted by the famous Lombard Street in San Francisco being turned into a giant Candy Land game board. The event generated more than 1,500 placements and 186 million impressions. Highlights included “The Early Show,” “Fox & Friends,” CNN Headline News, ABC “World News Now,” The Weather Channel, USA Today and the Associated Press. |

Deborah Kelco Sierchio, Vice President
Deborah Kelco Sierchio, Vice President Deborah is Vice President of the Beauty & Fashion Divisions at Coyne PR. She has a unique understanding of the category, having created campaigns throughout her career for some of the world’s most prevalent and influential beauty and fashion brands, including Mary Kay, Bumble and bumble (Bb), L’Oréal and Procter & Gamble, Hard Rock International, Safilo and Casio.
Deborah currently oversees public relations activities for Mary Kay, Palmer’s Skin Care, Hard Rock Rock Shops, Solstice Sunglass Boutique and Casio Timepieces. She is instrumental in the development and execution of impactful events, product launches, editor interactions, social media programs, Corporate Social Responsibility campaigns and crisis communications.
Before joining Coyne PR, Deborah served as the Director of Communications for Bb, the prestige hair product company and salon owned by Estee Lauder. Previous to Bb, Deborah worked for a number of fashion & beauty shops including Lippe Taylor, DeVries Public Relations and Cairns & Associates. Deborah holds a B.A. in Communications and a Certificate of Criminology from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey. She is a member of Cosmetic Executive Women.

Melissa McCallister Weiler, Vice President
As a Vice President in Coyne PR’s food and beverage practice, Melissa McAllister Wieler brings nearly two decades of experience in strategic planning, nutrition education campaigns, media relations, cultivating and managing alliances and partnerships and special events managements within the food/beverage and consumer products arenas. Melissa currently manages the beverage brands of PepsiCo (AMP Energy and Mountain Dew) in addition to Cascadian Farm and ShopRite.
Melissa’s past work includes building a U.S. market for green tea, creating the platform for dark chocolate as a heart healthy snack and helping turn the tide for U.S.-grown rice on the heels of the anti-carb phenomenon. In addition, she orchestrated three International Scientific Symposia for the Tea Council of the USA and managed successful new product launches and re-stages for such beloved brands as Häagen-Dazs, Progresso and Tropicana.
Melissa has executed food and beverage PR campaigns with focuses ranging from health and nutrition to taste and indulgence for a broad range of clients, from catfish, rice, tea and ice cream to Prosciutto di Parma, Roquefort cheese, olive oil and champagne.
