  CASE STUDY: STARWOOD HOTELS & RESORTS WORLDWIDE, INC.
LOVE YOUR FAMILY PROGRAM


ISSUE:
Coyne PR was charged with launching Starwood Hotels & Resorts’ newest brand, Love Your Family – a cross-branded initiative including 29 locations of the Sheraton, Westin, St. Regis and The Luxury Collection brands.

IDEA:
Love Your Family is a new family-friendly program with signature services and curated experiences designed for kids and grownups alike. Coyne PR transformed a room at the Sheraton New York into one of the program’s exotic resort locations to showcase Love Your Family to a wide range of media. More than 20 members of the media toured the site and enjoyed Stargazing, Fireside Storytelling and the Dive-In Movies, giving each the experience and one-on-one attention indicative of Love Your Family. Each tour was lead by the Starwood executives who created Love Your Family – including the Director of Fun.

IMPACT:
Top-tier media attended the Love Your Family launch, including editors from national magazines such as American Baby, Conde Nast Traveler, Cookie, Family Circle and Redbook. After the event, Coyne PR distributed the news to both trade and consumer media outlets nationwide. News coverage appeared in 95 media outlets yielding more than 33 million media impressions, including USA Today, LA Daily News, MSNBC.com, Miami Herald and Arizona Republic.
