Coyne PR and Einstein Bros. Bagels® Nominated for a 2018 Silver Anvil Award

Nurse the Buzz Campaign Named a Finalist in Retail Stores and Restaurants Category

Coyne Public Relations is pleased to announce that the agency has been nominated for a 2018 Silver Anvil Award in the “Marketing: Consumer Products – Retail Stores and Restaurants” category on behalf of Einstein Bros. Bagels®.

Einstein Bros. Bagels® partnered with Coyne PR to launch its new Boosted Bagels platform and drive brand relevance among target consumers. To generate awareness for the launch, Coyne leaned heavily on the Espresso Buzz Bagel, the most newsworthy offering made with 32mg of caffeine, to develop Nurse the Buzz.

The dynamic campaign celebrated a group that needs a good buzz to keep themselves going through long shifts – nurses. A multi-faceted media, spokesperson, social and influencer strategy was enacted to generate widespread buzz and awareness for the new bagels during National Nurses Week and rewarded them with a free, caffeine-packed Espresso Buzz Bagel and shmear. Nurses were encouraged to share their story about how the Espresso Buzz Bagel helps them get through their day with the hashtag #NurseTheBuzz. Consumers were also encouraged to take part in the campaign by sharing a “Thank You” message for a nurse who made a difference in their life at www.nursethebuzz.com, or on Twitter or Instagram with the hashtag #NurseTheBuzzSweepstakes, to receive a coupon for a free Boosted Bagel and shmear with purchase, and chance to win one free bagel with shmear from Einstein Bros. Bagels® each week for a year.

“We are extremely humbled to be named Silver Anvil finalist this year,” said Jennifer Kamienski, Executive Vice President and head of the Coyne PR Consumer Lifestyle practice. “I’m grateful we have partners like Einstein Bros. Bagels® who allow us to continue to push the envelope creatively.”
