Parsippany, N.J., October 14, 2015 – Coyne has brought on Ann Smith as a Vice President within the Healthcare practice to support the on-going growth and expanded service offerings of the firm. Smith will work closely with the group’s largest clients including Humana, Express Scripts, Atlantic Health, The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation, among others.
Prior to joining Coyne, Smith served as Senior Director of Corporate Communications at Express Scripts (formerly Medco) where she was a client of the firm for more than 15 years. While at Express Scripts and Medco, Ann led internal and external communication functions including enterprise-wide employee communication channels, business continuity, issues management, executive communications, brand and reputation management.
During this time, Smith developed and implemented a company-wide cultural change campaign that created a service excellence mindset resulting in increased client and member satisfaction. She also led marketing communications programs that placed Medco at the forefront Personalized Medicine, Specialty Pharmacy, Healthcare Reform, and drove thought leadership through multiple condition-specific data analysis reports.
