The PRWeek Purpose Awards honors activations that use creative ideas to promote positive causes and celebrates the organizations and individuals behind them.

The Owens Corning Roof Deployment Project, submitted by Coyne PR in the “Best B2B” category, is an authentically purposeful initiative that aims to honor and support veterans by providing them with new roofs. Owens Corning, driven by a mission to honor veterans who have served the country, partnered with Coyne PR to create a cause-related program that would both raise awareness for the brand and its roofing contractors, while also making a tangible impact on the lives of veterans. Named the “Roof Deployment Project,” this innovative program involves Owens Corning Roofing Platinum Preferred Contractors (PPC) working alongside Habitat for Humanity to identify veterans in need of roof replacements. The program not only provides new roofs courtesy of Owens Corning but also leverages the skills and resources of local PPC network contractors to complete the projects, positioning them as local heroes.
