Agency Also Takes Home Three Awards of Excellence

Coyne PR is proud to announce that it has won a 2019 PRSA Silver Anvil on behalf of its client PEEPS®.  The Silver Anvil Awards recognize outstanding strategic public relations programs and organizations that have successfully addressed contemporary issues with exemplary professional skill, creativity and resourcefulness.

The PEEPS® campaign was named the Most Effective Campaign on a Shoe String Budget at this year’s awards. To drive awareness outside of the Easter season, the Coyne PR team wanted to up the ante for the 10th anniversary of the brand’s annual PEEPSFEST® event, a family-friendly New Year’s Eve celebration in its hometown, Bethlehem, PA, featuring a drop of the iconic symbol of PEEPS® – a giant lit Chick. The team created an idea to give back to the community and provide waves of media coverage with a kickoff timed to PEEPFEST® on New Year’s Eve, resulting in 1.6 billion media impressions (a 69% increase from the previous year) and nearly $25,000 in donations.

The agency was also given Awards of Excellence for the following campaigns:

  • ChapStick Transforms from Habitual Purchase to Beauty Essential in the Reputation/Brand Management category
  • Pacira Pharmaceuticals Choices Matter: An In-Depth Analysis of the Opioid Epidemic and Overprescribing in America in the Public Services category
  • Red Robin’s Record-breaking National Teacher Appreciation Day in the Most Effective Campaign on a $5,000 to $10,000 Budget category
