Mederma, trusted leader in scar care, was set to debut a refreshed line of products and its new “You Are More Than Your Scar” campaign and challenged Coyne PR to elevate the campaign positioning in a unique way. Coyne leveraged Mental Health Awareness Month (May) as the opportunity to put a spotlight on the campaign and demonstrate the emotional impact skin imperfections like scars can have on self-esteem. Through a nationwide survey about the relationship Americans have with their skin and how it affects mental health and partnerships with experts including therapists and board-certified cosmetic dermatologists, Coyne elevated the Mederma brand and drove home key campaign and brand messaging.
