New Jersey’s largest, private university, Fairleigh Dickinson University (FDU), tapped Coyne PR to elevate the school’s reputation broadly, as well as promote areas of specialty, namely its School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences; the International School of Hospitality and Tourism Management; and the FDU Poll, which regularly queries individuals across the country on pressing issues. Early into the engagement, the COVID-19 pandemic hit, requiring a shift in strategy, but not on focus, as the original specialty areas lined up seamlessly with the media’s interest.  Coyne leveraged academic experts in health sciences, public health, pharmacy, hospitality and tourism to speak to the pandemic effects on these sectors, as well as promoted FDU Poll data that shed light on the public perceptions of – and attitudes toward – the global crisis.
